Senior Executive
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor junior HVAC technicians, providing guidance on complex installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and VRF systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for critical HVAC equipment, minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of assets.
- Oversee the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys to identify potential HVAC issues and recommend appropriate solutions or upgrades.
- Manage inventory of HVAC parts and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project completion.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities, including service reports and equipment logs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the field.
- Respond to emergency service calls, providing rapid and effective solutions to critical HVAC system failures.
Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 years and above of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician, with a proven track record in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), ventilation systems, and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot and install HVAC components.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, air balancing, psychrometrics, and electrical controls related to HVAC systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and the ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize system performance and longevity.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the HVAC industry, including lockout/tagout procedures and handling of refrigerants.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good leading and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin proficiency being a strong asset for client and team interaction.
- Willingness to work onsite at 65 Jalan Angsa, Taman Berkeley, 41150 Kapar, Selangor, Malaysia, and potentially travel to other company sites as needed.
